Born and raised in the international hair capital of the world— Atlanta, Georgia — Simone Floyd has had a spark for rebuilding and maintaining healthy hair since her formative days, when she learned to maintain and manipulate her own hair in her childhood home with her father, away from the grooming guidance of her mother. 

 

Maturing in her craft led Simone to developing a desire for women of color to have pride in their crowns that they could flaunt, not only  with grand style, but also with healthy regard. This notion led to birthing the Simply Silk brand and fostering Floyd’s commitment to being a healthy hair coach, focusing on both the natural integrity and appearance of hair. 

 

The future will open new doors for Floyd and Simply Silk as the brand will debut it’s signature collection of 100% organic and natural products.
